Natalie Conway, PT, MPT, OCS, ATC believes that helping people perform their best is complicated.

Returning to competition after a life threatening injury at age 17 provided personal experience of performance training and rehabilitation following injury. Fear, pain and fighting tenuous motivation can all play a part in reaching one’s full potential. Returning to work, sport and life after an injury requires solid evidence based treatment strategies, commitment to excellence and coaching best practices for exceptional outcomes.

Natalie’s credentials include a Master of Physical Therapy and Certified Athletic Trainer, both of which she attained from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. She is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and certified in the SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) system.

Passionate about helping people move better all of her life, Natalie started her coaching career at age 12. She utilizes years of experience as a competitive gymnast, physical therapist, coach, manager, mother and mentor to bring out the very best in those around her. She believes that proper movement and lifting techniques, flexibility, balance, strength and power are all essential life skills for long term health for all people.

Whether she is instructing gymnasts, returning injured athletes to competition, guiding injured workers back to work or helping grandparents play with their grandchildren; she brings passion, experience, knowledge and tenacity to the table. Natalie believes physical therapists are the movement experts, and as such are positioned to change the face of healthcare and quality of life for all in the coming decades.

Natalie joined Tidewater Physical Therapy in 1992. She stays because of the ever increasing team of talented and creative physical therapists that Tidewater has recruited and retained throughout their 30 year history in the communities they serve.
